Mat Follas - Biography

Although he grew up in New Zealand, Mat Follas has spent most of his life in England and was born in Portsmouth where his father was posted with the New Zealand Navy.

His background is actually in engineering, but his passion for the kitchen shone through after a cooking course at Rick Stein’s Seafood School. He now runs his own restaurant, The Wild Garlic in Dorset.
