Producers Bursary Awards

Information for applicants - Producers Bursary Awards

The BBC Good Food Shows and MasterChef Live team are searching for exceptional British producers of speciality food and drink, and want to reward them for their passion and dedication. We want to provide producers with the opportunity to reach more consumers, trade buyers and industry professionals and show our visitors what ‘good food’ really is.

This special Award entitles the winners to a free stand package within the new ‘Producers Bursary Award Pavilion’, which will feature at each of our BBC Good Food Shows and MasterChef Live Show over the next 12 months.          Producers must meet the criteria below to be eligible to apply: 1. Company must produce an outstanding food or drink item/range with a speciality, regional or artisan focus
2. Company turnover must be no higher than £250,000
3. Company must be based in Britain or Ireland
4. Producer must make a considerable effort to adhere to ethical and sustainable production methods   In addition to these basic criteria please note that: - Companies that have not exhibited at a BBC Good Food Show or MasterChef Live before will have an advantage over those that have.
- If you would like to attend the show, regardless of winning a bursary or not, we would advise that you book a stand, which will then be cancelled without penalty if you win the bursary award.   The final judging will take place on September 15th at the BBC Good Food Magazine Kitchens and judges will include editors of BBC Good Food and Olive Magazines.   If your bursary application is unsuccessful we will inform you at the first opportunity, and where possible give feedback as to why you did not win. The package includes the following:
• Branded shell scheme stand (6m² with carpet & name board), lighting, 500 Watt electrical socket and Trestle Table, if required
• Listings on show websites and in the show guides
• Great opportunities for valuable editorial & PR
• Support and advice for first time exhibitors   Please note - The stand is not furnished (other than table if required) and any refrigeration, extra electricity or display equipment will need to be brought along or hired. Staffing for your stand and any travel & accommodation costs are not included.   Please contact Katy Truss on Katy.Truss@haymarket.com or 0208 627 8315 for an application form and return no later than Friday 28th August to: Katy Truss, BBC Haymarket Exhibitions, Teddington Studios, Broom Road, Teddington, TW11 9BE
