Sir Terry Wogan joins John and Gregg as MasterChef Live judge
Sir Terry Wogan will join John Torode and Gregg Wallace as an Invention Test judge at MasterChef Live this Friday, 13th November it was announced today, (TUES).
Terry will join the MasterChef duo at London’s Olympia on Friday 13th November as a very special judge of the 10:15am Invention Test for members of the public who have just 30 minutes to produce a delicious dish from a box of mystery ingredients.
John Torode said: “We loved being a guest on Wake Up to Wogan and it could be argued that Sir Terry is the biggest MasterChef fan there is. He’s a dedicated follower and to have him alongside us at MasterChef Live will be a great privilege.”

All proceeds from the sale of the remaining ten Invention Test places and audience seats in the session Terry is to judge (10:15am, Fri 13 Nov) will be donated to Children in Need. In addition, BBC Haymarket, organisers of MasterChef Live, will donate 10% of the MasterChef Restaurant proceeds on Friday 13th November to Children in Need and 50 pence per ticket for every full paying adult ticket bought on the door to the Show on Friday.
Gregg said: “We’ll also ask the audience to the Invention Test to make a pledge for whom they think is going to win the Invention Test and all money collected will again go to Children in Need.”
