The Invention Test is sponsored by Plenty. This is your chance to wow the experts and take part in our very own MasterChef Live Invention Test, possibly earning the chance to have your food tasted and critiqued by John Torode and Gregg Wallace themselves!

Thirty pre-booked candidates will be given just 30 minutes to prepare a dish, using a selection of set ingredients chosen by our producer panel.
The expertise, innovation and passion of the contestants will be monitored and assessed by various mentors as they cook. Three lucky contestants will then go forward to be judged by the fearsome judging duo.
John and Gregg will then taste these dishes and give their feedback to all three finalists, but only one can be crowned winner!
Throughout the entire session, Andi Peters, finalist in Celebrity MasterChef, will be keeping proceedings running smoothly, while a film crew follow the action at the cook stations, beaming footage live to screens for the audience to watch.
